Minimum Eligibility
The candidate should
have passed 10 class of 10+2 System or Matric or any other examination
recognized as equivalent to 10th class examination, conducted by CBSE with
minimum 35% aggregate in Science, Mathematics & English. The subjects
Science, Mathematics and English are compulsory and the candidate should have
passed in each of these three subjects without considering grace marks
Note:
1. Candidates
passing/qualifying class 10th under the grading system should have obtained
minimum pass grade in the compulsory subjects i.e., Science, Mathematics and
English without being upgraded
2. Any other criteria as
prescribed by CBSE in new pattern.
For candidates applying for Modern Office
Practice (English) Minimum Eligibility is
Passed Senior School
Certificate Examination (Class XII) of CBSE or an equivalent recognised board
in any group of 10+2 (Academic) or any other examination recognized as equivalent
to the Senior School Certificate with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in
aggregate of best three subjects including English reflected in the mark sheet
and the Subject English is compulsory and the candidate should have obtained
pass marks in this subject without considering grace marks.
For candidates applying for Modern Office
Practice (Hindi) Minimum Eligibility is
Passed Senior School
Certificate Examination (class XII) of CBSE or an equivalent recognized board
in any group of 10+2 (Academic) or any other examination recognized as
equivalent to the Senior School Certificate with minimum 45% marks (40% for
SC/ST) in the aggregate of best three subjects including Hindi/Sanskrit reached
in the mark sheet and the Subject Hindi/Sanskrit is compulsory and the
candidate should have obtained pass marks in this subject without considering
grace marks.
For candidates applying for Pharmacy Minimum
Eligibility is
Passed Senior School
Certificate Examination (class XII) of CBSE or any other examination recognized
by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate
Exam of the CBSE with minimum 45% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry
& either Biology or Mathematics. The subjects English, Physics, Chemistry
and either Mathematics or Biology are compulsory and the candidate should have
pass marks in these subjects without considering grace marks. As per directions
issued by the Pharmacy Coulcil of India vide their letter No.
14-2/2007-PCI-13143, dated 27.12.2007, the candidates who have appeared/passed
through National Institute of Open Schooling shall not be considered for
admission. Note: Eligibility for students passed from NIOS / Distance Education
will be as per decision of Honourable Court / Delhi Government.
For candidates applying for Lateral Entry for
10+2 (Vocational Stream) / ITI Pass out to the second year/3rd semester of full
time diploma courses in Automobile Engg., Electrical Engg., Electronics &
Communication Engg., Mechanical Engg., Printing Technology, Production Engg.
Minimum Eligibility is Passed 12th class of Vocational Stream of CBSE / Passed ITI /
Apprenticeship from schools located in Delhi / ITI affiliated to BTE, Delhi
respectively with subjects analogous to the Engg. Diploma Courses with minimum
60% in aggregate of best five subjects reflected in the mark sheet of
qualifying examination without considering grace marks in these best five
subjects.
Age Limit Candidates should be below 21 Years (24 years for 10+2
Vocational Engineering Stream and ITI pass out candidates for admission against
10% supernumerary seats in Second Year and 30 Years for women candidates for
12th based courses) as on 1st August of the admission year. The upper age limit
will be relaxed by 5 years in cae 5.2 Age Limit 18 of SC/ST/PH candidates and 2
years for women candidates Maximum age relaxation given to any candidate will,
however, not exceed 5 years. No age relaxation is admissible to the candidates
other than those specified above.

Test Scheme
There will be test for
different disciplines
1. The test paper,
except for Pharmacy, will contain 150 objective-type questions in all. Each
question will be provided with four alternative answers marked (1), (2), (3)
and (4). Of these, only one correct or more appropriate answer should be
selected and marked on the OMR sheet with black ball pen only. (Sample at
Appendix C)
2. In Pharmacy, there
will be total 210 questions, out of which the students have to attempt 150
questions by taking 60 questions either from Mathematics or from Biology. They
have to indicate their option.
3. Each question shall
carry four marks. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers. One
(01) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
4. Tests will be of two
hours and thirty minutes duration and will carry 600 marks. Candidates for Art
based courses have to appear in Test 1 (which shall decided their merit rank)
and also for a separate Aptitude Test for Art based courses of 1.5 hours
duration.
5. A centre once
allotted by the Controller of CET 2013/Principal, Aryabhat Polytechnic) will
not be changed and no request in this regard will be entertained under any
circumstances.
6. The medium/language
of the question papers for the entrance test will be as under –
